APPLUSTRE GUIDE
App Demo Video Maker: What to Look for Before You Export
The right product-demo tool should keep the original screen recording intact while giving the editor deliberate control of how the product is framed, paced, and exported.
What to evaluate
- Import a recording without altering the original source.
- Compose the product in realistic device scenes when that context helps the story.
- Direct zoom, position, and rotation as editable timeline intervals.
- Retain control over scene, timing, and export rather than accepting a black-box result.
- Verify the export path on the Mac hardware and format you actually use.
AppLustre's approach
AppLustre turns a screen recording into a directed product film with device scenes, editable camera movement, and local export on Mac. Its production API also supports agent-driven camera direction: an agent can create editable zoom, position, and rotation intervals in the same project model as the human UI. There is no customer-facing natural-language prompt box inside the app today.
